Äntligen är dom här – ätardagarna!! Dagarna innan ett större lopp när man måste vila och äta för att ladda upp ordentligt! Sista skidpasset är nu avklarat och om inte mindre än tre dagar är det dags för Vasaloppet. Som sagt, det som väntar de kommande dagarna är mat, vila, mat, plugg, mat, vila, mat! Kan det bli så mycket bättre?
Jag skulle i och för sig kunna kalla alla dagar för ätardagar för äta tillhör en av mina starkare sidor. Jag äter gärna mycket och ofta och jag har svårt att förstå mig på de människor som inte tycker om mat, alltså de som äter bara för att man måste. För mig är lixom mat livet och det är perfekt att använda Vasan som et ursäkt att få äta lite extra! :D Och extra trevlig känns det nu när jag inte "får" träna utan faktiskt bör vila!
Jag har inte ändrat mina matvanor speciellt mycket inför det här loppet mer än att jag under några veckors tid medvetet ätit större portioner kolhydrater men samma mängd protein och fett. Jag äter också lite större mellanmål nu mera. Det är säkerligen inte nödvändigt för Vasaloppet skull för att jag vet att jag får i mig det jag ska, men hur gott är det inte med lite extra? ;) Man får passa på nu när man kan! Och med ”nu när man kan” menar jag att nu när jag tränar ca 10 timmar/vecka så finns det utrymme att äta mer. Det handlar ju om att anpassa intag efter uttag, att göra av med den energin man stoppar i sig...
Det kommer jag dock inte att göra de kommande tre dagarna, utan nu ska jag bara fylla på och ladda upp inför den stundande utmaningen. Och jag tror att jag kommer behöva all energi jag bara kan få då en av mina största prövningar hittills i mitt 25-åriga liv väntar. En prövning jag verkligen ser fram emot!

Tanken på att folk jag känner kan följa mig gör mig dock lite nervös, det är som att man verkligen måste prestera då... Meen jag kan inte annat än att köra mitt race, och som Elli sa så är jag ändå så mycket coolar än alla som sitter vid datorn i stället för att vara ute i spåret... ;) Och jag har lovat mig själv att oavsett hur lång tid det tar så ska jag vara stolt och nöjd när jag tar mig över mållinjen.
